Radeon RX 6900 XT almost caught up with GeForce RTX 3090 in the gaming test Ashes of the Singularity

The performance results of the Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics accelerator were found in the Ashes of the Singularity gaming benchmark database. The video card was tested using the “Crazy” graphics settings (maximum possible) at 1080p.

In the gaming benchmark, the Radeon RX 6900 XT scored 10,100 points, showing an average result of 102.1 fps. As a result, in the performance rating, it was located just one step away from the GeForce RTX 3090 model, which scored from 10,200 to 10,400 points in the same gaming test.

Interestingly, 10,100 points and an average result of 102 frames / s are shown in the same gaming test by the Radeon RX 6800 XT model with a lower rank.

The new flagship graphics accelerator Radeon RX 6900 XT is based on the AMD RDNA 2 architecture. The graphics card is based on the GPU Navi 21 XTX with 5120 stream processors. The card is equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6 video memory. The novelty will directly compete with the flagship model GeForce RTX 3090 from NVIDIA. Both cards are very expensive, but the Radeon RX 6900 XT is a third cheaper than the GeForce RTX 3090. AMD is set to start selling its flagship solution on December 8th.

As indicated by the resource VideoCardz, reviewers have already received a novelty for conducting full tests. It is very likely that one of them is the source of the leaked results of the card’s gaming performance in the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark.
