Redmi 9 will be introduced in China along with Redmi 10X very soon.
The new Redmi 9 smartphone appeared in the database of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where it runs under model number M2004J19G.
Redmi 9 will get a huge screen and battery
FCC confirms that the smartphone out of the box will run MIUI 11 based on the Android 10 operating system. According to the regulator, the smartphone will be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, but there is no information about the power of the charger. It is speculated that the charge will be only 10 watts. This is less than 18 watts at which the Redmi 8 and 8A charge.
Another interesting point – the screen diagonal can be increased to 6.6 or 6.67 inches, while Redmi 9 will receive a panel with HD + resolution in order to further reduce the cost. The manufacturer plans to position the device as a competitor to Realme 6i. It is expected that the phone will only support LTE and Wi-Fi 5.
