Retrofuturistic Action Narita Boy Goes On Sale In Spring For PC And Consoles

Publisher Team17, on their official website, announced that they will help the independent Spanish studio Koba with the release of their retrofuturistic action game Narita Boy.

Narita Boy

As it became known, thanks to cooperation with Team17, the two-dimensional action movie Studio Koba will go on sale this spring for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

It is also reported that Narita Boy will be part of the Xbox Game Pass library from day one. We are talking about both the console and computer versions of the Microsoft subscription service.

Narita Boy takes place in the Digital Kingdom, enclosed within the popular console of its time, Narita One. Gamers will get Narita Boy’s role – the protagonist of the game of the same name and the savior of the virtual world.

As part of the adventure, the protagonist will have to fight “a great variety of unrealistically powerful bosses,” overcome puzzles and reveal the secrets of both the Digital Kingdom and its creator.

You can try Narita Boy on the eve of the release thanks to a temporary demo, which is available from February 3 to 9 this year as part of the next ” Festival of Steam Games. “

Narita Boy’s story began with a Kickstarter campaign in February 2017. The initiative ended successfully: as part of fundraising, Studio Koba managed to raise almost $ 200 thousand to create the project.
