Rumors: long-awaited Google Pixel 4a will debut in a week

It’s been a while since the release of the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones, but there are only rumors about their successor, the Pixel 4a. Expectations that it will be presented in May – a year after the release of its predecessors – did not come true. And although the Pixel 4a has already been spotted on the FCC database, the date of its announcement has not yet been officially announced.

According to well-known blogger Jon Prosser, there is very little time left before the presentation of the Google Pixel 4a. He stated this before, and now he reiterated his statement that the novelty will be presented on August 3.

Google recently stopped selling the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, which is further indication that a successor is coming.

According to informed sources, Pixel 4a is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset 730, although not ruled out a more advanced version of the smartphone with 5G support, based on the chip Snapdragon 765G.

The Pixel 4a is reportedly equipped with a 5.81-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels), with a notch in the upper left corner for an 8MP camera. The main camera resolution is 12.2 megapixels. To ensure data security, the smartphone uses a fingerprint scanner. The specs of the device also include 6GB of RAM, a 64GB or 128GB flash drive, and a 3080mAh battery. The price of the smartphone is rumored to start at $ 350.
