It should be cheaper than Ryzen 7 5800X3D, but more expensive than Ryzen 5 5600X
AMD looks set to change the low-end gaming processor market with the release of the Ryzen 5 5600X3D.
An indication of the existence of such a CPU was published by the chi11eddog insider, who, among other things, correctly named the prices for the 65-watt Ryzen 7000 CPUs.
Ryzen 5 5600X3D exists?
As you can see, the novelty will have six cores and frequencies of 3.3-4.4 GHz. For comparison, the Ryzen 5 5600X has frequencies of 3.7-4.6 GHz, but on the example of the same Ryzen 7 5800X3D, we know that the additional 3D V-Cache is much more important for games. And here it is just important that the amount of this additional cache memory will be equal to the same 64 MB as that of the older brother.
Ryzen 7 5800X3D became a bestseller after the price reduction and is still selling very well. The Ryzen 5 5600X3D will obviously be cheaper (the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is currently selling for $290-$330), and six cores are more than enough for many games. The regular Ryzen 5 5600X is now $150, meaning the Ryzen 5 5600X3D will cost around $200 to $250 to be in the range between two related CPUs.
As a result, Ryzen 5 5600X3D can become not only the best gaming CPU in its price segment, but also a real people’s favorite.
