But for the money it’s not the best option.
Reviews of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor appeared on the Web, which was a bit late with the market entry relative to its older counterparts.

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D has eight cores clocked at 4.2-5.0GHz, a TDP of 120W, and 96MB of L3 cache. The processor costs $450, which is more than asking for a 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X.
According to a large review by TechPowerUp, in ordinary applications, additional cache memory often does not help the new product. On average, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D performs at the same level as the $325 Ryzen 7 7700X. The latter is even 3% faster. Compared to the Intel CPU, this is the level of Core i7-12700K or Core i5-13600K.
But in games the situation is different. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the fastest processor out there, outperforming everything on the market, including the Core i9-13900K. Compared to the Ryzen 7 7700X, the increase is a hefty 15% in Full HD, and even in 2K the increase is over 10%. But in 4K, all these comparisons almost lose their meaning. The difference between the specified AMD processors is reduced to 5%, except that in some individual processor-dependent games the figure is higher.

But where the novelty shows itself unequivocally excellent is in energy efficiency. Under load, the CPU consumes only about 49 watts on average, which is on par with the Ryzen 5 7600! For comparison, the Ryzen 7 7700X already requires 78 watts.
As a result, the authors of the review call the Ryzen 7 7800X3D the fastest gaming processor they have ever tested, and note incredible energy efficiency. But the price-performance ratio is certainly worse than many other CPUs.
