Most of the models are close to the recommended price

On September 24, sales of the top-end Nvidia video card of the Ampere line, the GeForce RTX 3090, will start. The reference version, we recall, is estimated at $ 1,500, but how much will it be possible to buy partner versions of the model – overclocked and with a modified cooling system? There is already an answer to this question.

GeForce RTX 3090

Sales of GeForce RTX 3090 start. How much do overclocked versions cost?

True, the situation has so far been outlined in the US market, but this makes us no less interesting. So, in the US it will really be possible to buy a GeForce RTX 3090 at the recommended price – a clone of the reference called Asus TUF Gaming for $ 1499.99 already appears in the Newegg online store database. EVGA XC3 Black Gaming ($ 1530) and EVGA XC3 Gaming ($ 1550) are offered a bit more expensive on the same site.

One of the most affordable overclocked versions is the Gigabyte EAGLE OC for the same $ 1550 in the BestBuy online store. There is also MSI Ventus 3X OC for $ 1570 and Gigabyte GAMING OC (GV-N3090GAMING OC-24GD) for $ 1580. For $ 1,600 without one cent, you can buy the Asus TUF Gaming OC Edition (TUF-RTX3090-O24G-GAMING), slightly more expensive than the EVGA XC3 Ultra Gaming – $ 1,620. The rest of the video cards are significantly more expensive. These are EVGA FTW3 Gaming for $ 1730, EVGA FTW3 Ultra Gaming, and Asus ROG Strix OC Edition for $ 1800 each.

The characteristics of most of these models have not yet been published, but, for example, the same EVGA FTW3 Gaming will be overclocked by 6.2% relative to the basic version of the Founders Edition. Hardly impressive overclocking, but a decent $ 300 surcharge. However, it also includes a modified cooler with three fans.
