Galaxy Buds Live are open-back headphones designed to ensure long-term comfort. The in-ear modules are shaped like a bean fruit, following the anatomy of the ear. An efficient active noise cancellation system has been implemented.

Since the Galaxy Buds Live were designed to accompany users throughout the day, a lot of effort has gone into making them fit in your ear as comfortably as possible. During the creation of the new product, 80 prototype headphones were evaluated to verify the optimal size, shape, and performance.

“ The biggest challenge was setting comfort standards. When eight out of 10 subjects responded that the headphones were comfortable and only two rated them as uncomfortable, we had to make sure to make changes that satisfied these two without compromising the satisfaction of the other eight. In order to make the product convenient for as many users as possible, we have recruited about 2,000 volunteers in testing, ”notes Samsung.

30 prototypes have been created for the Galaxy Buds Live case. Its size and shape have been designed to fit easily into pockets or hold in hand. This leaves enough room for a powerful battery that provides up to 21 hours of use on a full charge.

Finally, a number of layouts were required to assess color performance: in particular, options with different gloss levels were studied. Galaxy Buds Live is eco-friendly with 20% recycled plastic.
