Information about the new product was published on the website of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG). The gadget appears under the name Galaxy Tab Active 3, which clearly indicates the development of a new ruggedized tablet.

It is about the preparation of three computer modifications – SM-T570, SM-T575, and SM-T577. Probably, we are talking about versions with and without cellular support, as well as options with different amounts of memory.

It is known that the equipment will include a Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapter. Users will be able to interact with the display using their fingers and a special pen.

It can be assumed that the Galaxy Tab Active 3 model will be manufactured in accordance with MIL-STD-810G and IP68 standards, which means protection from shock, drops, moisture, and dust. Bluetooth SIG certification indicates an imminent official announcement.

According to estimates by the International Data Corporation (IDC), in the second quarter of this year, tablet shipments in the EMEA region (Europe, including Russia, the Middle East, and Africa) soared by almost a quarter compared to last year, reaching 11.9 million units. This is the most impressive increase since 2013.
