Then it was known that a similar model Samsung T7 without a scanner would later appear and cheaper. Sources say that such a model finally went on sale, but embarrassment came out with it.
The fact is that for some reason some versions of this SSD are not cheaper, or even slightly more expensive than the T7 Touch modifications, or they cost the same. In particular, for a 2 TB modification in Germany, they ask for 405 euros, which is 1 euro more expensive than the equivalent version of the T7 Touch. A 1 TB modification costs 215 euros, and this is exactly the same amount as asking for a T7 Touch. Cheaper is only a 500 GB drive. It costs 145 euros, and it’s 10 euros less than the version with a fingerprint. The reason for this situation is unclear, but for most, it makes the T7 model useless.
