Sony is working to update the console firmware accordingly

Samsung TVs will finally get 4K 120Hz HDR with PlayStation 5 connected, but not until March

The problem is not new – we wrote about it at the end of December. But now it became known when the solution will appear. According to the German portal for technical support for Samsung TVs users, Sony is already preparing a firmware update, which will allow the PS5 picture to be displayed on the Korean company’s TVs in the highest quality. Thus, the problem does not lie in the TVs (this emphasizes the message) but in the console itself. True, the firmware will have to wait – it will be released only in March. In the meantime, users are advised to lower the frame rate to 60 Hz or disable HDR.
