Skullgirls’ hand-drawn action RPG to get its own TV series

The role-playing action movie Indivisible will be another game that gets its own television adaptation. According to Deadline, Meg LeFauve (“Puzzle”) and Jonathan Fernandez (“Gangsta Love”) will be executive producers and writers who will be in charge of the film adaptation.

DJ2 Entertainment, which specializes in the adaptation of video games, is responsible for the production (its most famous brainchild is probably the movie “Sonic in the Cinema”). Legendary Television will also participate in the creation of the film adaptation. Although a launch time has yet to be announced, the show is expected to debut on NBC Universal’s Peacock streaming service.

Indivisible from the studio Lab Zero Games, which created the famous two-dimensional fighting game Skullgirls, is characterized by hand-drawn graphics and story scenes in the spirit of anime. Hopefully, the TV series will delight you with high-quality drawing. Indivisible was announced in 2015 and raised over $ 2.2 million in a micro-investment campaign at Indiegogo. This was a prerequisite for a publishing agreement with 505 Games, according to which the authors received another $ 1.5 million to create their creation.

The game tells the story of the fearless girl Aina, who is on an epic adventure to unravel the secrets of her mystical abilities. On the way, the heroine will face many dangers and adventures, to overcome which will help various heroes. In terms of mechanics, this is a combination of two-dimensional platforming and RPG with turn-based dynamic battles: the heroine, her partners, and enemies can carry out attacks and blocks, which consume different amounts of energy.
