Smallest Nintendo passed fire and other torture.

Nelson describes the gadget as the smallest Nintendo gaming system in history. We are talking about the Nintendo Game & Watch, which debuted at the end of last year.

The console is designed for Nintendo fans with a long experience and a desire to plunge into childhood memories. In the USSR, the clones of Nintendo Game & Watch under the Electronics brand were well known – Mickey Mouse, Well, wait a minute!, Hunt, Ocean Secrets, and Cheerful Cook. There are three games installed on the console, and it is offered for about $ 50 in the US.

The new Nintendo Game & Watch has been tested with varying success. The screen is not resistant to scratches – they appeared at level 3 on the Mohs Scale. In comparison, smartphones with protective glass typically show scratches at level 6 on the Mohs Scale. Thus, it is not recommended to carry the gadget in the same pocket with the keys.

The paint on the front panel is easily removed by scratching, and an “unexpected” layer of metal is found. The plastic on the back is predictably scratched, but the texture is fairly resistant to damage. During the bending test, the attachment bent slightly but did not break or crack and then recovered its shape. The console coped well with the fire test – the LCD lasted about 10 seconds, and after cooling down, it recovered almost completely.
