The Google Pixel Watch 2 smartwatch will be much better than the current generation. According to fresh data, the new model will be much more autonomous.
Most of the thematic resources in general praised the Pixel Watch, but almost everyone was very unhappy with the autonomy. The second generation in this matter will be much better. Including, and this is the second important improvement of the new model, thanks to the new platform.

While the Pixel Watch for some reason uses the old 10nm SoC Exynos 9110, the Pixel Watch 2 will be based on the most modern SoC Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 or W5 Plus Gen 1. In any case, these are four Cortex-A53 cores and process technology 4 nm. It’s an interesting choice, given that Samsung is preparing a new Exynos W980 SoC for its new watch, which Google could very well use.
In any case, the new Google watch will be more autonomous and more productive. The 9to5google resource talks about two days of work versus one day for the Pixel Watch, and even then without Always On Display.
The watch is also credited with the same set of sensors as the Fitbit Sense 2 model. That is, among other things, the new Google will receive an electrodermal activity sensor, which is still very rare in watches.
