Smartphone Huawei Mate 40E will receive a 6.5 “screen and 64-megapixel camera
Network sources report that the Chinese company Huawei will soon announce a productive smartphone, Mate 40E, to work in fifth-generation mobile networks (5G).
The device is credited with the presence of the proprietary Kirin 990E processor. The chip combines eight computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.86 GHz and a graphics accelerator Mali-G76.
A page describing the smartphone briefly appeared on the Tmall website. The device is indicated as having a 6.5-inch diagonal display. A Full HD + OLED panel with a resolution of 2376 × 1080 pixels is used.
The main multi-module camera will include an OmniVision OV64A sensor with 64 million pixels. The front camera’s resolution, located in a small hole in the display, is not revealed yet.
According to reports, the novelty will receive up to 12 GB of RAM, and the capacity of the flash drive will be up to 512 GB. Power will be provided by a 4100 mAh battery with a rechargeable USB Type-C port.
Gartner estimates that 1.35 billion smartphones were sold globally in 2020. Huawei took third place among the leading manufacturers (after Samsung and Apple) with 13.5%.
