As you can see, here, the autofocus merely is “going crazy,” and the reason is not very clear. Judging by the context of the author’s message, this is not a unique case for his apparatus.
Unfortunately, the author did not disclose the details, only specifying that his smartphone is running on the latest firmware. Third-party sources note that this is a problem of Exynos 990 SoC versions, but it is not very clear how widespread it is. In any case, the problem is software, and Samsung will solve it sooner or later, but this is another minus in the piggy bank of the company’s new top-end platform.
