Elon Musk stated this on his blog.
The owner of the social network X (formerly Twitter), Elon Musk, announced that it will soon feature audio and video calls. The billionaire wrote about this on his page in the same X. According to him, audio and video calls will work on mobile devices running iOS and Android operating systems, as well as on Mac and PC.
Social network X will have audio and video calls. No phone number needed
In his message, Musk also mentioned that making a call through X would not require a subscriber’s phone number and called his social network an effective global address book. Recall that Twitter was renamed to X on July 24, the domain was changed to x.com, and the corporate logo with the image of a blue bird was replaced with a white letter X on a black background. Posts on the social network are now called “Xs” rather than “tweets.”
