An official fix is on the way
Users of the Sony PlayStation 4 game console have recently encountered an unpleasant problem – authorization was reset in the Youtube video service, and when you try to log in again, an error is generated with the code NP-37602-8.
Sony broke Youtube on PlayStation 4. But this can be easily circumvented.
In the PlayStation Support support section, searching for such a code does not return any results. However, Sony and the Youtube team have already recognized this error and are working on a fix.
The developers of Youtube published a message on the social network Twitter that users of the PlayStation 4 with the problem of authorization on Youtube are not alone and the team is already conducting research in this direction. The message was retweeted on Ask PlayStation, the official support page for PlayStation products.
You can get around this unpleasant problem by broadcasting video from Youtube to the set-top box from a smartphone or tablet on the same Wi-Fi network. To do this, you need to open the Youtube application on the device, click the broadcast icon, and then select the PS4.
Apparently, this problem appears after installing the system update 7.51, which Sony released the other day.
Recently, there have also been complaints about the problem with access to videos on Youtube. PlayStation 4 users complain that they can no longer watch videos with age restrictions, even if the restriction mode is turned off, there is no “parental control”, and the user is “well over 18”.
