Android 9 Pie is rolling out for TVs 2016-2019
Sony began to distribute the software update with the new version of Android for three dozen models of Bravia and non-Bravia smart TVs starting in 2016.

We are talking about firmware 6.7115, which translates the Android TV platform to Android 9 Pie. The Sony D, E, F, and G series, which debuted from 2016 to 2019, is being updated.
Users from Latin America were the first to receive the update, TVs in Europe will also be updated soon, the whole process will be completed by the end of 2020.
Changes include the new Media Player app, which combines videos, albums, and music, support for HEVC 100/120 Hz content from USB drives, and all the innovations in Android Pie, including a new settings menu.
