It is not yet clear when Cyberpunk 2077 will return to PlayStation Store, or if it will return at all

The story of compensation to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players for Cyberpunk 2077, which is impossible to play, took an unexpected turn: Sony simply removed the game from the PlayStation Store! At the same time, a campaign was announced for a full refund of funds spent on the purchase of the game. And this is, in general, a typical precedent: Sony is known for its very strict policy in this regard – not all user requests for refunds after purchasing a digital version of a game were satisfied. But now we are really talking about a large-scale campaign.

Recall that almost immediately after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, users began to complain about the game for various reasons. For example, on the PlayStation 4, the frame rate in Cyberpunk 2077 drops to 15 fps, in the PlayStation 4 Pro the situation is a little better – there you can see 30 fps. And although there are no performance problems on the PlayStation 5, there are problems with all sorts of errors and bugs. Apparently, there were so many complaints from angry users that Sony’s patience quickly ran out, resulting in the removal of Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store.

The further fate of Cyberpunk 2077 is vague. Sony itself says the game will not be available digitally ” until further notice .” Apparently, it will still return to the PlayStation Store, then only after CD Projekt Red has done some serious work on the errors.
