Sony revealed the most downloaded games in the PlayStation Store for January

Sony’s Official PlayStation Blog has revealed the most downloaded games on the PlayStation Store for January 2021. The company has released separate listings for PS4, PS5, PlayStation VR, and shareware projects.

Call of duty

On the PlayStation 5 in the US and Canada, the first place was expectedly taken by Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and in Europe – by FIFA 21. The second position in two regions at once went to Hitman 3 – the loudest January release. Ranked third in the US and Canada for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and in Europe for Black Ops Cold War.

On PlayStation 4, the top three spots in the two regions were taken by the same games. The leader was Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, GTA V was in second, and Minecraft was in third. The situation is similar to projects for the PlayStation VR. Here are the top three spots in the US / Canada and Europe: Beat Saber, Job Simulator, and Superhot VR.

Oddly enough, but in the segment of shareware games, the tastes of users of the two regions also converged. Excelled Rocket League, and behind it is located Call of Duty: Warzone. Fortnite took third place.
