Sony to release online game in a new universe from the creators of Destiny, Call of Duty and Mass Effect
Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Firewalk Studios have announced a collaboration to release an online game under new intellectual property.
There are no details about the project yet. It is only known that the team is already working on a future game.
“We are inspired to create amazing new worlds and connect players around the world. The PlayStation team loves and respects the gaming environment and has the best capabilities and knowledge in the world to help make our ambitions a reality, ” said Tony Hsu, head of Firewalk Studios.
Firewalk Studios was created in 2018 by industry veterans who have worked on hits like Destiny, Halo, Call of Duty, Apex Legends, Mass Effect, BioShock Infinite, and Guitar Hero. The head of Firewalk Studios stressed that the studio had gathered talents in their field, capable of creating an addictive multiplayer game for many hours.
It is worth noting that Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan (Jim Ryan) announced that the PlayStation 5 would have the largest number of exclusives in the history of consoles from Sony.
