Sony Xperia 1 III smartphone with 4K OLED HDR display will cost $ 1200
Internet sources have published the latest information about the flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 1 III, which in the coming year will replace the second generation model (shown in the images).
The Xperia 1 III features a 6.5-inch 4K OLED HDR display with a resolution of 3840×1644 dots. The upcoming smartphone is said to also receive a 4K OLED HDR display, but its brightness will rise 15% compared to its predecessor.
It will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor: this product, presented earlier this month, contains eight cores with a frequency of up to 2.84 GHz, an Adreno 660 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem.
The equipment Xperia 1 III will include a side fingerprint scanner and a flash drive with a capacity of 256 GB. The base version will receive 8 GB of RAM, but a modification with 12 GB of RAM is likely to be released as well.
It is said about protection against moisture and dust according to IP65 / IP68 standards. The main camera equipment has not yet been revealed. As a reminder, the Xperia 1 II has a quad camera with three 12MP sensors and a ToF sensor.
Internet sources add that the new product will go on sale at a price of $ 1,200. The presentation of the Sony Xperia 1 III is expected in the first quarter of 2021.
