As McDonald warned at the end of October, the Demon’s Souls version updated for PlayStation 5 will not have achievements related to improving weapons in all possible ways (there were 14 of them).

Instead, the remake will include rewards for participating in a network session (helping another player defeat a boss, killing an invading phantom), and passing certain sections in a certain way.

In order to avoid possible spoilers, we will restrict ourselves to the most innocuous examples: for example, in order to obtain the corresponding trophy, the developers propose to defeat the Tower Knight without eliminating the enemy archers.

Another new goal is to get Israel. In the original version, this spear became available only when the lightest world trend was reached in a certain location.

In total, 37 trophies are expected in the remake: there were 38 of them in the original Demon’s Souls. Platinum has not disappeared from the game but has changed its name – from Toughest Soul Trophy to Slayer of Trophies.

The remake of Demon’s Souls will go on sale on November 12 exclusively for the PlayStation 5. Sony previously talked about the capabilities of the character editor and photo mode, and also showed 12 minutes of gameplay.
