Spotify gets a redesigned user interface
Spotify continues to improve the music service’s interface to make it even more comfortable for users to interact with it. This time, it became known about the update of the main page of the mobile version of Spotify, making it easier for users to return to listening to music and podcasts and learn about the emergence of new content.
The section that shows recently played tracks and podcasts will highlight incompletely listened-to podcasts, which can be resumed with just one touch. Here you can also find new episodes of podcasts from authors to which the user is subscribed.
After clicking on which you can see the songs and podcasts played in the last three months, a History button will appear at the top of the home page. Currently, finding recently listened content on Spotify is not easy, so the History function should be a useful tool among the service users.
Premium Spotify users will have access to an improved content recommendation feature. The developers say that this tool is ” personalized, relevant and responsive to the user’s taste, “but how exactly it works is still unknown. Perhaps users will be encouraged to listen to recently released tracks from the authors to which they are subscribed.
According to reports, the updated user interface will be available to Spotify users on Android and iOS platforms within the next month. This means that the update will roll out gradually for different regions of the service’s presence.
