It is used to deliver Tesla cars to customers.
Tesla is in crisis – a delivery crisis. Electric vehicle orders are growing, and delivery options are limited for various reasons, including the coronavirus pandemic that is raging in the United States. The head of the company, Elon Musk, has already thanked the logistic partners for making every possible effort to deliver the cars ordered by consumers on time and apologized to the customers themselves because of possible delays. The company is trying to use all possible methods to ship the car on time, and one of them is the Tesla Semi truck. One of the Twitter users managed to capture the Semi near the factory in Fremont (California, USA) – the truck is used as an auto transporter for the new Tesla cars.
Tesla is already in full swing operating the Semi electric truck
This fact is curious that Semi has not yet been launched into mass production – it has been postponed sequentially, and according to the latest data, it will not begin until next year. It turns out that Tesla uses a prototype, and with benefit: it is possible to deliver goods and at the same time run-in and identify possible flaws that will be eliminated in the production model. In addition, this photo is a clear proof of Mask’s recent words that “it’s time to start mass production of Semi trucks”.
