TGS 2020 Online to reveal “decent amount of new information” about improved NieR RepliCant and more
Square Enix in the Japanese microblogging series NieR announced two upcoming shows dedicated to the games of the franchise. Both events will take place as part of the Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online.
First gear – NieR TGS 2020 Special Programming. The stream will kick off on September 24 at 4:00 pm ET and will offer “a decent amount of new information” about NieR: Automata, NieR Re [in] carnation, and an improved version of NieR Replicant.
NieR TGS 2020 Special Programming will not be broadcast live: the show will be recorded in advance. The broadcast will be accompanied by English subtitles, and the event will be followed via YouTube.
The second show is called NieR Staff Talk – this is a stream with the participants in the development of the games listed above. Square Enix warned that “almost no new information” will be released as part of the NieR Staff Talk.
The NieR Staff Talk will begin broadcasting on September 26 at 16:00 Moscow time. Apparently, in this case, one cannot count on subtitles explaining what is happening.
NieR: Automata was released back in March 2017 on PC (Steam) and PS4, and subsequently appeared on Xbox One. It is not known what kind of information the developers are preparing about the game three years ago.
At the same time, NieR Re [in] carnation and the updated NieR Replicant are just getting ready for release. The first is expected to premiere on iOS and Android, while the second is announced for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
