Recently, users have been releasing a wide variety of materials on Cyberpunk 2077: they demonstrate bugs,  try to convey the atmosphere of Night City,  compare the release version of the game and the gameplay demonstration with E3 2018. The author of the Bear Gaming Asia YouTube channel also joined in the fun. He decided to head off Cyberpunk 2077 and GTA V in terms of NPC behaviour. The results are not in favour of the new product from CD Projekt RED.

Cyberpunk GTA V

The blogger in the video interacted with the NPCs in Cyberpunk 2077 and Grand Theft Auto V in the same way. For example, he would run up to cars, take out weapons, and aim at NPCs. In the fresh action RPG from CDPR, the reaction was the same: drivers and passengers covered their faces with their hands and simulated fear. And in the action of Rockstar Games, NPCs acted very differently: one rushed forward and knocked down the player, the other tried to run away and got hit by wheels in the oncoming lane, and the third got out of the car altogether, took out his own pistol and opened fire.

A similar situation is with attempts to move NPCs. In Cyberpunk 2077, collisions between people and vehicles look very unnatural. GTA V bypasses the work of CD Projekt RED here: the residents of Los Santos are trying to run away from cars and have much more realistic animations.

In other similar aspects, the game of seven years ago also demonstrates an advantage over the novelty: when trying to damage vehicles, when beating people in front of the police, while shooting in the streets, and so on.
