GeForce RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti 3DMark Performance Data Revealed

An insider published the performance results of promising GeForce RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti graphics cards in 3DMark Time Spy Extreme. According to the informant, the older model is gaining about 8600 points, the average frequency of its GPU is about 2.6 GHz, and the power consumption is 270-280 watts.

The younger model consumes less (230-240 W) with a slightly higher GPU frequency – above 27 GHz. The result of the test is about 6000 points.

If we focus on the results of the video cards of the current line, then 6000 points is a level between the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3070, closer to the first. But 8600 points is very close to the level of the RTX 3080 – it has 8900 points in this test. Of course, the results of new products are far from final: as the hardware and drivers are fine-tuned, performance will increase.

The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is credited with an AD104-180-A1 GPU with 6144 CUDA cores and 10 GB of GDDR6 memory at 17.5 GHz. That is, the number of cores is at the level of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, and the memory is 2 GB more.

The GeForce RTX 4060 will receive an AD106-300 GPU and much fewer CUDA cores – 3968. She is credited with 8 GB of memory at a frequency of 17 GHz, connected to the GPU using a 128-bit bus.
