The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti video card appeared in the GPU-Z database
Someone from the users of the GPU-Z program intended to check the technical characteristics of graphics accelerators, not only confirmed the existence of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti video card, but also its specifications. The information was discovered by one of the Twitter users.
An anonymous user of the GPU-Z utility added part of the technical characteristics of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti video card to the program database. Earlier leaks revealed that this model will be based on the GA104-200 GPU – a stripped-down version of the GA104-300 chip with fewer CUDA cores. The database does not specify the GPU model, but it does confirm the number of CUDA cores. This chip has 4864 of them. The leak also confirms that the GPU has 80 ROP units, but the data on texture units (TMU) is incorrect.
More interestingly, the information also contains data on the frequency of the GPU. According to the GPU-Z program, the base frequency of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU is 1410 MHz, and in the automatic overclocking mode, it rises to 1665 MHz.
It is also indicated that the card is equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory with support for a 256-bit bus and a frequency of 14 GHz. A similar memory configuration, we recall, is used in the more productive GeForce RTX 3070 model, which NVIDIA will release on sale in a couple of days.
According to the resource VideoCardz, the manufacturer itself has not yet confirmed the existence of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti video card, but the company’s partners are already busy preparing their options based on it. It is also indicated that the company has not yet decided on the final price and start date for the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, but the release is expected sometime in mid-November. In addition, this video card is credited with a cost of less than $ 400.
