Productivity is of course much lower

The Tensor G3 single-chip system, like the previous two generations, is produced at Samsung facilities, which does not have a very good effect on energy efficiency. Recent tests show that the Tensor G3 specifically, thanks to the transition to the 4 nm process technology, in general, although it is far from the best representative of the class, it still cannot be called bad.

As you can see, in terms of performance this is approximately the level of Exynos 2200 and Dimensity 9000, but here we are talking exclusively about the load in graphics benchmarks. At the same time, in terms of energy efficiency, Tensor G3 is also approximately equal to Dimensity 9000 but is far ahead of Exynos 2200.

When compared with more productive solutions, in two out of three tests the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 turns out to be less energy efficient, but the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, of course, is out of reach both in terms of performance and energy efficiency. It is the most energy-efficient at the moment. 

Also, Tensor G3 in terms of energy efficiency can be compared with Dimensity 9200 and Apple A16 Bionic, although these two platforms are significantly more productive.
