Rostec announced this
In Rostec, speaking about the import-substituted SJ-100 airliner, they say that they are creating a new aircraft. This is how the corporation commented on the start of certification of import-substituted SJ-100 equipment.
Let us recall that yesterday Rostec reported that the KRET concern, part of the state corporation, has launched work on the certification of avionics for the domestic airliner SJ-100, which previously used French avionics from Thales Avionics. Now this equipment no longer works with Russia.
The imported SJ-100 was called “virtually a new aircraft”
When creating the digital complex, the developers relied on existing experience in creating and successfully operating similar systems for the Il-96-300, Tu-204/214, Il-114, and Be-200 aircraft, and their modifications. All advanced domestic solutions in the field of on-board computing systems were integrated into the equipment.
Rostec also stated that in total about 40 systems and assemblies were imported in the SJ-100: “These are primarily avionics and flight instruments. Rostec enterprises are creating a new machine.”
Superjet 100 chief designer Kirill Kuznetsov previously said that imported SSJ-100 aircraft will be produced with horizontal wingtips as standard, which will reduce costs for airlines.
