Global beta testing of Huawei’s new proprietary shell begins
Huawei has finally launched a beta test program for its proprietary EMUI 10.1 shell internationally for the Huawei P30 and Mate 30 smartphones, as well as the Nova 5T.
The international Huawei P30 and Mate 30 finally joined the big update to EMUI 10.1. And Huawei Nova 5T too
The company is already rolling on such an update on Chinese users, and now EMUI 10.1 has become available for users of global models.
The update began to arrive on smartphones of users who had previously registered to participate in the testing program. Huawei P30 smartphones get firmware number 10.1.0.119 with a volume of 1.77 GB.
On the Huawei Mate 30, the update is numbered 10.1.0.230 and weighs all 4.26 GB. The update also includes the April Android security update. For Huawei Nova 5T, firmware with the number 10.1.0.215 weighs 1.77 GB.
EMUI 10.1 was introduced simultaneously with the flagship Huawei P40. The shell received an improved graphical interface, and improved Multiscreen mode, a MeeTime video call application, Celia voice assistant, new themes, a function for sharing photos and videos on different Huawei devices on the same network, and much more.
