To date, we recall that only two test launches of the named missile have been carried out. The first took place back in December 2014, and the second – exactly six years later, in December 2020.

“ We very much hope that the fate of this rocket will be extremely positive, and I know that the Khrunichev Center already has a number of orders for launches next year and in the future,” said Pyotr Lyovochkin, chief designer of NPO Energomash, in the program “Big Space” on the channel ” Roscosmos TV “.

Two launches of carriers of the Angara family are scheduled for the current year. In particular, the Angara-A5 heavy rocket is to be launched for the third time: it is expected to fly with the new powerful Perseus upper stage, and not the Breeze-M, as before. In addition, the launch of the light carrier “Angara-1.2” is planned.

Meanwhile, Roskosmos reports that pre-flight preparation of the Soyuz MS-18 manned transport spacecraft, which will be launched to the International Space Station (ISS) in April, continues at the Baikonur cosmodrome. This device was recently tested in an anechoic chamber. The spacecraft is to deliver the crew of Expedition 65 to the ISS.
