Automotive Resource Caranddriver has provided statistics on sales of the most popular car models in the US for the first quarter of this year.
The conclusion the analysts draw is that while crossovers dominate in Europe, pickups and SUVs continue to crowd out other cars in the US.
Ford F-Series pickups lead the way with 170,377 units, with sales up 21% year-over-year. Sales of the F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck totaled 4,291 units.

Sales of the Chevy Silverado were 123,994 vehicles, putting it in second place, while sales of the Ram pickup fell 17% to 105,350. As a result, the model took third place.
Tesla Model Y electric car with a score of 85,000 took fourth place, ahead of Toyota RAV4 (84,704 units), Nissan Rogue (76,499 units), Honda CR-V (67,241 units) and GMC Sierra (67,198 units) .
The Toyota Camry ranked ninth with a score of 66,037 cars, and the Tesla Model 3 closed the top ten with a score of 63,000 cars.
