Recently, there was information on the Internet that the iPhone 12 smartphones will be content with a screen with a refresh rate of 60 Hz since Apple still does not have 120 Hz display driver chips. However, John Prosser spread somewhat different information.

According to him, a 120-Hz panel will be equipped with a senior representative of the new family – the iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch screen. Moreover, it is argued that this model will receive a reduced screen notch.

John Prosser provides a screenshot of the display settings. It can be seen that options are available with a high refresh rate and adaptive change in the refresh rate in the range from 60 to 120 Hz.

It is also reported that the main camera of the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be endowed with an autofocus system that works using data from the lidar. It talks about the possibility of recording video materials in 4K format at a speed of 240 frames per second. Finally, improved noise reduction and low-light functions are mentioned.

We add that the iPhone 12 family, according to the available data, will include four models. In addition to the iPhone 12 Pro Max, these are the iPhone 12 (5.4 inches), iPhone 12 Max (6.1 inches), and iPhone 12 Pro (6.1 inches).
