The release of the smartphone Samsung Galaxy A52 5G on the Snapdragon 750G platform is approaching

The Geekbench benchmark database has been replenished with information about the Samsung mid-range smartphone codenamed SM-A526B: this device is expected to enter the commercial market under the name Galaxy A52 5G.

The device is equipped with a Lito motherboard. It contains the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, which combines eight Kryo 570 processing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz, an Adreno 619 graphics accelerator, and a 5G modem. In the Geekbench test, the base frequency of the chip is indicated – 1.8 GHz.

The smartphone carries 6 GB of RAM onboard. The device is initially installed with the Android 11 operating system.

The characteristics of the display and cameras, unfortunately, have not yet been revealed. It is only noted that in the back of the case there will be a quad-module with four image sensors.

According to estimates of the International Data Corporation (IDC), in the third quarter of this year, shipments of smartphones globally amounted to 353.6 million units, down 1.3% from last year’s result. The market leader is Samsung with a 22.7% share.
