The smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus can manually adjust the GPU frequency

The smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus can manually adjust the GPU frequency

Xiaomi is preparing to release a high-performance smartphone Mi 10 Pro Plus, powered by an overclocked mobile chipset Snapdragon 865. Yesterday we reported that the device appeared in the AnTuTu database, where it showed impressive performance results. Today, network sources reported that one of the features of the new items will be the ability to fine-tune the performance of the GPU.

The information was shared by a Twitter user under the nickname Ice Universe, who has repeatedly provided reliable information about various upcoming products.

According to the source, Xiaomi is working closely with Qualcomm to optimize the Mi 10 Pro Plus smartphone. In particular, both companies are developing a special Game Turbo application for the device that allows fine-tuning

of the GPU. The application allows you to select the desired ready-made performance profile, taking into account the current tasks. For example, choose “maximum performance” or vice versa energy-saving mode. In this case, it will also be possible to set the GPU frequency parameters manually.

In addition, the software will also allow you to change the image quality parameters in games, such as the level of anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing, or texture quality. According to the latest rumors, the powerful smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus will receive a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 108-megapixel main camera, and a 4500 mAh battery. It is also reported that the new product will use as a basis for the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865 processor, which bypasses the updated Snapdragon 865+ chipset in terms of clock speed. Recall that the latter is 3.1 GHz.
