TikTok is now available on Google TV and Android TV
Today, TikTok announced a special version of the proprietary app, adapted to work on smart TVs. It is reported that the decision to develop it was made because users began to spend more time at home due to restrictions associated with the coronavirus.
The TikTok app for Google TV and Android TV will initially launch in the UK, France, and Germany and soon be available to users in other regions. Thanks to TikTok TV, users will be able to view videos published on the platform on a large screen. The redesigned interface of the application will provide easy navigation through the categories.
To find out if a new application is available to you, you need to open Google Play on your TV and enter “TikTok” in the search bar. If the video service client appears in the list, you can download it and start using it immediately. Otherwise, you will have to wait a few days for TikTok TV to be available in all regions.
