Trailers for the launch of the ancient Indian action movie Raji: An Ancient Epic and the imminent release of the music album
Super.com and Indian studio Nodding Heads Games have released their side-scrolling action-adventure Raji: An Ancient Epic on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC ( Steam ), and has previously been released on Nintendo Switch. On this occasion, they presented two trailers at once: a cinematic video with computer graphics and a video with a cut of the gameplay itself.
Recall the story of Raji: an Ancient Epic begins with a new war between demons and gods. An army of demons seeks to avenge their defeat a thousand years ago, and people have long forgotten the ancient arts that could help them survive in this battle. Unable to defend themselves, they lost the war, surrendering almost without a fight at the mercy of the invaders.
Having dealt with the defenders of the cities, the demons began to kidnap children. Unable to come to terms with the loss of her younger brother Golu, the young girl Raji asks the gods for strength and weapons to fight the demons. Having received the blessing, she becomes the only protector of humanity. She will have to fight hordes of demons and at the same time unravel the cunning plans of the leader of the invaders – Lord Mahabalasur.
The visuals of the game are inspired by Indian mythology, ancient architecture, and the plowman style, combining hand-drawn images with 3D graphics. The gods endowed the Raji with a variety of magical abilities – by combining them with weapons, you can adapt to any combat situation right during the battle. Based on Indian and Polynesian myths, Raji: an Ancient Epic uses murals to tell the story of gods and demons.
The development of the project started in 2017 and finally, the game was released. The developers in the blog thanked the community of fans, and also talked about the imminent release of the official music album Raji: An Ancient Epic – it can be purchased on Steam separately (249 ₽) or bundled with the game (624.6 ₽). The adventure itself costs RUR 445 now. A demo is also available there.
