Riders Republic from Ubisoft Annecy (in development for 3 years) will include skiing, snowboarding, cycling, and wingsuit competitions in an open world. Players will participate in races with mass races, develop their careers or relax with friends and walk freely through the open spaces.

The game offers competitive, cooperative, and even single-player modes. In addition, there will be races with more than 50 players, as well as various events with many participants that will randomly appear on the map. In addition, there are 6×6 team competition matches.

In Career Mode, the player will be in the role of a talented rider in search of opportunities. You can develop in one of 6 directions with various events and tasks in which you can test your strength and hone your skills:

  • freestyle – bike;
  • racing – bike;
  • freestyle – skiing;
  • racing – skiing;
  • wingsuit;
  • jet wingsuit.Riders Republic is located in 7 major national parks in the United States: Mammoth Mountain, Yosemite, Grand Teton, Sequoia, Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Canyonlands. The game world was created on the basis of real relief maps of various regions of the United States at a scale of 1: 1, but for the sake of the gameplay, it is not an accurate reproduction of national parks.

    Judging by the bright style in the spirit of Fortnite, the developers will rely on the wide possibilities of cosmetic changes in the appearance of characters and on collecting various clothes. The equipment that the player will unlock will have special characteristics that affect the play style.

    The launch of the Riders Republic is promised on February 25, 2021, on PC (UPlay and Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and X, as well as Google Stadia. The next-generation consoles are promised 60fps. By the way, races with more than 50 players are also the prerogative of the next generation systems – on PS4 and Xbox One the ceiling is 20 people.
