It is not surprising that references to samples of new products are beginning to appear in open sources. GeForce RTX 3080, for example, was spotted right away in NVIDIA drivers and UserBenchmark.
The moderator of the TechPowerUp graphics database at one of the thematic forums stated that the entry in the NVIDIA_DEV.2206 drivers corresponds to the GeForce RTX 3080 video card. The source ascribes to the GeForce RTX 3080 video card the presence of 10 GB of memory of an undefined type with an effective frequency of 19 GHz, the frequency of the graphics processor reached 2100 MHz. Judging by the memory frequency, we are talking about the use of GDDR6X chips.
Unofficial sources previously attributed the GeForce RTX 3080 to the possibility of existence in two modifications, with 10 and 20 GB of memory, respectively.
