Video: fighting, interacting with the environment and collecting evidence in the gameplay trailer for Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One

In the first half of February, the Frogwares studio published a gameplay teaser for Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One and has now shared a full trailer that includes footage from the previous video. In the fresh video, you can see fights travel to locations, the process of investigating crimes, and much more.

First, the trailer shows how Sherlock Holmes explores various locations on the Mediterranean island, where Sherlock Holmes’s events: Chapter One will unfold. Next, attention is paid to the investigation process: the main character examines objects and people, collects evidence, and then draws certain conclusions based on them.

Besides, the trailer showed melee combat in detail. Sherlock Holmes can deliver different blows, parry enemy attacks, and counterattacks. The protagonist also has a pistol to help interact with the environment. For example, before a battle, you can shoot at a container with sacks of flour – they will fall and blind enemies for a few seconds, giving the protagonist an advantage.

Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One will be released in 2021 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. The exact release date has yet to be announced.
