Video: Little Nightmares II trailer featuring illusionist Derren Brown
Bandai Namco has unveiled the Little Nightmares II trailer featuring renowned illusionist Derren Brown. The magician became famous for several books and his vivid performances, continuing the traditions of David Copperfield. In the published video, as in his books, Brown asks the question, “What are nightmares?”
The video demonstrates fragments from Little Nightmares II (locations, characters, and enemies). Brown reflects on the nature of fear: he suggests not running away from his nightmares but understanding the nature of their origin. Turn around and look at them. In the second part, players will learn the continuation of the story of the Sixth and Mono. Heroes will again overcome not only real obstacles but also psychological shocks.
Interestingly, unlike the original, the users will control the character Mono, and the Sixth, controlled by artificial intelligence, will accompany him on his journey. According to the authors, artificial intelligence will respond appropriately to the player’s actions, helping him solve puzzles and facing local inhabitants.
The release of Little Nightmares II will occur on February 11 in versions for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Editions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S will be released before the end of this year. A demo is currently available on Steam, GOG, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo eShop.
