You can use voice commands to control music playback, send messages, create posts on social networks, and much more. More than 30 popular Google Play apps in English are currently supported, including Spotify, Etsy, Mint, Walmart, and Discord.
An example of such an extended interaction of Google Assistant with third-party applications was shared by the topic resource 9to5Google. The author has demonstrated how a voice assistant can now lace-up sneakers. However, this will only work with Nike Adapt sneakers with automatic lacing.
The new Shortcuts tab in Google Assistant displays all commands associated with applications installed on the smartphone and the user can choose from the proposed options or customize their own. The Nike Adapt app is among those offerings and lets you use commands to control the lacing on your shoe – tuck, loosen, fully loosen, and so on.
