Video: Shadow of the Colossus-inspired Praey for the Gods Boss Fight
No Matter’s action-adventure Praey for the Gods is due for release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One in Q1 2021 and is currently in Steam Early Access. IGN has shared a new video showing 3 minutes of Praey for the Gods gameplay on PS5.
A new video shows the boss fight in this visionary heiress of Shadow of the Colossus. In a huge hall, the protagonist is fighting a creature that resembles either a giant mammoth or a bull. The main character looks like a grain of sand, but bravely fights the monster and ultimately defeats him:
Pray for the Gods takes place in an open world. The player takes on the role of a lonely heroine sent to the edge of a dying and frozen world to uncover the secret of endless winter. She will have to overcome colossal dangers in order to restore balance and save the earth from destruction. “Why doesn’t winter stop? Why didn’t anyone come back? The mysterious drawings left behind to hint at a story that was once thought forgotten. On his way, the hero will face questions that even the gods do not know the answer to, ”the description says.

Nature is not the only danger, so you have to create weapons, defeat monsters, visit long-forgotten caves and overcome various challenges.
While Praey for the Gods is not announced for the Xbox Series X and S, and the developers can not answer whether there will be a version optimized for the new Microsoft consoles, or players will have to be content with backward compatibility with the Xbox One. On the Steam Early Access game page, there are almost a thousand player responses, and 87% of them are positive.
