Video: trailer for the action-adventure Asterix & Obelix XXL Romastered from gamescom 2020
Microids and the OSome studio presented a trailer for the action-adventure Asterix & Obelix XXL Remastered at Gamescom 2020. This is an updated version of Asterix & Obelix XXL released in 2003.
Asterix and Obelix XXL Remastered will offer:
- updated graphics;
- the ability to switch between the original game and modern visual effects;
- two new game modes;
- new gameplay;
- a new camera and some animations redesigned from scratch;
- voices of the original game.The game is set in 50 BC when Gaul was conquered by the Romans, but one village continues to resist the invaders. This time, Asterix and Obelix, after hunting wild boars, found their home on fire. All of the heroes’ friends have been kidnapped, but the former spy of Rome, Sam Schiffer, will help them save. To save the villagers, players will travel to different parts of Gaul.
Asterix & Obelix XXL Remastered will release on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 22.
