Visual Studio 2022 and .NET 6 Released by Microsoft

Both are now available for download. Visual Studio 2022 is available as a 64-bit version for the first time. .NET 6 now also supports Apple’s own processors and Windows for ARM64.

Microsoft has made its latest versions of Visual Studio and .NET available to users around the world. Visual Studio 2022 and .NET 6 are now available for download.

With Visual Studio-2022, a 64-bit version of Visual Studio is available for the first time. Microsoft promises better utilization of all system resources, especially when working with more complex solutions over a longer period of time. According to Microsoft, customers were able to run the VS IDE for days during early testing, even for solutions with 700 or more projects.

Visual Studio2022 also includes a number of editing and debugging improvements. It also offers Hot Reload, which allows developers to edit their source code while their applications are running in VisualStudio 2022 and via the .NET CLI. Other new features include live preview functions and cross-platform tests under Linux.

.NET 6 is available for Windows, Linux and macOS. It provides a unified platform for cloud, desktop, IoT and mobile applications by using the same .NET libraries and the ability to easily share code across platforms, according to Microsoft. The new version also offers performance improvements, especially in the area of file I / O. In addition, .NET 6 is the first version to natively support Apple ARM64 as well as Windows ARM64.

Visual Studio 2022 simplifies the process of customizing the IDE to meet the needs of the developer. This will increase the level of productivity when working with the platform. It will also make it easier for developers to create cloud applications based on Azure. There will be full support for .NET 6 and a unified platform for web, client, and mobile applications for developers on Windows and macOS platforms.

Visual Studio 2022 will receive C ++ support with new performance features. Developers also integrate CMake, Linux, and WSL support to make it easier to create, edit, build and debug cross-platform applications. Debugging your products will be made easier with new tools, including those designed to improve performance in the main debugger.
