Vivo in August will release the “light selfie flagship” S7
Next month, Chinese company Vivo is reportedly planning to release a new S-series smartphone. Today’s leak confirms that the upcoming device will be called the Vivo S7. On the photo that appeared on the Web, advertising materials are revealed that reveal some details about the promising smartphone.
The source of the leak is one of the users of the Chinese social network Weibo. He published in his account a photo of an advertising stand, which informs about the availability of support for fifth-generation cellular networks in the Vivo S7. However, it is not yet known which chipset will form the basis of the new device. The current Vivo S6 runs on the Samsung Exynos 980 processor. It is possible that the upcoming device will also be based on the Exynos chip, but the use of the Qualcomm or MediaTek chipset is not ruled out.
The inscription on the billboard says that the smartphone will be positioned as a “lightweight selfie flagship”, from which we can conclude that the new device will focus on the quality and functionality of the front camera. In addition, among the promotional materials for the new device, a cardboard figure of the Chinese actor Liu Haoran with a Vivo S7 in his hand is seen. Unfortunately, no design details of the smartphone can be discerned, but it is clear that the device will be available in blue.
