There is no exact word yet on when Warframe will hit the Xbox Series X | S, but Digital Extremes COO Sheldon Carter told VentureBeat:  “The PS5 is out. The Xbox Series X version is coming soon. Now our next main target will be the Series X version of Warframe. “

Warframe also recently released on the Epic Games Store with an exclusive Unreal Tournament-style weapon set. The EGS release sparked an unexpected surge in new players, Carter said.

“New players are the key to the health of any game. The game has had many different opportunities to develop over the past month, added Carter. – When we launched the Switch version in November 2018, within a month we had a million registered users on this platform. Every time we go to a new platform, it is always surprising to us to see that many people download Warframe for the first time. They may have heard about the game or played it on PC a long time ago. But when we go to new platforms, we see a large number of new players activating [their account] for the first time.
